ENERGY MARKET
It’s been a successful few months at the GMG energy club, saving hundreds of thousands of pounds for clubs. We have arranged and negotiated contracts for over 100 supplies saving over £390,000. Many clubs are now taking advantage of what the GMG Energy Club has to offer, with not only competitive pricing and energy expertise, but saving clubs a lot of time to concentrate on other important areas of their Golf Club. The GMG Energy Club is the chosen Consultant for many clubs, due to our trusted industry knowledge and our understanding of these operations and their needs.
A recent concern for Golf Clubs has been knowing what term to commit to. Most clubs, after reading our previous market report, have opted for a 2- or 3-years deals. Looking at the below indicative market curve, it helps you understand why. The indicative market curve shows that the wholesale prices is expected to be high past 2026.
The gas market is showing a similar trend to the electricity curve, with expected pricing to be at a much higher wholesale price for the next few years.
